The Ship That Sails

Progress
October 2004

Greg found a couple of weeks in October to really get busy on the boat. After a busy summer in the body shop and on the river, Greg tacked up all the metal around the hull of the sailboat. Prior to tack welding the big sheets, he finished laying the longitudinals around the hull frame, Prior to the radii, he designed and installed the bow thruster, which consists of a metal tube extending to both sides at the front of the boat (in the sail locker) where a propeller will guide the front of the boat for docking and other situations.
